Miles, an ex-teacher turned business owner, home educator and co-founder of home-educating blog healthycurious.com, is on a mission to empower others to break free from societal constraints and build the life they desire. He and his wife Louise, unschool their children. With a rebellious spirit and a strong drive for success, Miles ran a DIY record label and music publishing company for five years after leaving teaching. As a hobby Miles began creating a large catalogue of white noise and sleep-inducing sounds under the moniker Noise Foundation. Things went a bit nuts and he now receives millions of streams annually on Spotify and Apple Music from all around the world. In addition, Miles and Louise run Cassette Property Group, a property investment company helping others to build assets for a freer life.

We are Miles and Louise Clark - ex-teachers, home educators and entrepreneurs.

We chronicle our family's unschooling journey, how we are deschooling ourselves, and how we balance this wonderful lifestyle with our parental responsibilities and desire to add value to the home education community. This is all whilst building multiple businesses to provide the best life for our family and keep our brains busy.

We love the idea of a slow life… but it's not quite us.

Follow our blog as we question the system, share our experiences and encourage others to venture into the world of home education.

It's not all easy-breezy and we continue to face challenges but want to give value to our readers so together we can jump over these hurdles.

As the site grows we will continue to share our reasons for home educating, how we facilitate our childrens' self directed learning. We plan to talk to other home educators and share their learning.

As entrepreneurs we network with likeminded people. More and more we come across business owners who are choosing to take their kids out of school. There is clearly a link that we will explore as the site evolves.

Our aim is to build a community of home educators and unschooling parents; those that think a little differently; and those who aim to live their best life with intention and on their own terms.

As much as we love being in nature and benefiting from the restorative elements, we live in the 21st century. We'll share reviews of products and things that help us get through the day, support our children's learning and streamline our life.
